Around this time each year, WWE enthusiasts can expect three things: the Royal Rumble event being an exciting free-for-all, WWE superstars frequently gesturing towards the Wrestlemania sign, and the announcement of a brand new WWE 2K game. So far, it appears that this year’s installment in the long-standing series will be the most impressive yet, as developer Visual Concepts hints at an expansive roster of WWE icons, superstars, and rising stars in the game.
Last year’s game featured hundreds of wrestlers from across the RAW, Smackdown, and NXT rosters, and most of them are set to return for WWE 2K25. The highlight feature this year is a Showcase mode focused on The Bloodline, arguably one of the most formidable WWE factions in history. This mode will showcase various eras of the Anoa’i dynasty that has shaped WWE programming over several decades and will still feature wrestlers like Roman Reigns, The Rock, Yokozuna, Jacob Fatu, and more in prominent roles. To top it off, this year’s Showcase mode is narrated by The Bloodline’s chief strategist, Paul Heyman.
Additional features to anticipate in WWE 2K25 include a brand-new open-world social environment for your customized MySuperstar creation to explore, new match formats such as Bloodline tactics and intergender confrontations, and a revamp of the collectible-card MyFaction mode.
While Visual Concepts claims there will be over 300 wrestlers in WWE 2K25—and has mentioned several by name—currently we will keep this list focused on the superstars who have been officially confirmed to be in the game up to now. You may want to check back often, as like last year, this feature will be continuously updated prior to the game’s release on March 14 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
