The Gwendy Trilogy Omnibus (Paperback)
$20 (previously $22) | Releases February 18
Crafted by Stephen King and Richard Chizmar, The Gwendy Trilogy narrates the tale of a 12-year-old girl who receives a mysterious wooden box from a stranger. Inside are various enticing buttons—but if Gwendy feels tempted to press any buttons within the box, dire consequences will ensue. The subsequent two books in the trilogy follow Gwendy further along in her journey, with Gwendy’s Magic Feather depicting her rise as a successful author only to face the ominous box once more, culminating in Gwendy’s Final Task as dark forces attempt to gain control of the world. This paperback omnibus is a compilation that combines all three books of the trilogy into one volume.
Preordering from Amazon secures the preorder price guarantee, meaning if the price changes before release, you’ll only pay the lowest price. You also won’t incur any charges until the item is dispatched.
While the omnibus edition is a fantastic choice for having the complete trilogy in one book, there are alternative options available right now, including The Gwendy Trilogy Paperback Boxed Set, which contains all three books but is slightly pricier at $27 (previously $52).
King has two more upcoming releases scheduled for 2025. The first is Never Flinch, set to arrive on May 27, which revolves around the Buckeye City Police Department responding to a letter threatening to harm 14 individuals as an act of retribution for the killing of an innocent man. Additionally, a new edition of Skeleton Crew: Stories will be available on February 25 for $22. There’s also the anthology The End of the World As We Know It coming on August 19, which gathers various short stories from multiple authors inspired by King’s beloved novel The Stand and features a foreword by King.
King collaborated on the Gwendy Trilogy with Richard Chizmar, who has some exceptional books worth exploring, including the crime novels Chasing The Boogeyman and its sequel Becoming the Boogeyman, both of which are available for purchase on Amazon. For something different, check out his latest book, Memorials. This is a supernatural tale about a group of students who uncover disturbing symbols on gravestones while filming a documentary deep in the Appalachian Mountains.
