If you have never experienced it, Destiny is set in a distant future where humanity teeters on the brink of extinction. Following a prosperous golden age after the discovery of the Traveler—a god-like entity resembling a giant golf ball—humanity was nearly eradicated by a mysterious force known as the Darkness. The Traveler intervened just in time, but the damage had been done, and a new dark age ensued. During this era, Guardians emerged to become the defenders of our species, and centuries later, a new city was founded.
This is where newcomers enter Destiny 2, as you will be cast as a recently resurrected Guardian assigned the mission of keeping humanity safe. This is easier said than done, as numerous hostile alien factions roam the solar system, leaving you with a challenging journey ahead. You can choose to acquire a 3-item pack for just $5, six items for $10, or the full bundle for $20.
The game is an MMO-style online first-person shooter that can be played solo or cooperatively, featuring optional PvP content as well, where the prime elements involve complex co-op missions that include puzzle-filled dungeons and raids.

There are a few things to note about this collection. The 2018 Forsaken campaign is no longer available in Destiny 2—even though you can still engage in some highlighted missions—and the pack offers access to a few powerful Exotic weapons and armor that you can equip in-game. The campaigns for each expansion released since Shadowkeep are still available, and while they may vary in quality, they are generally enjoyable for binge-gaming sessions.
