By Konami has finally verified the much-anticipated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on August 28, and preorders for this highly awaited remake are now live. The game will be offered in several versions, including a unique day-one launch version, digital editions, and a large physical collector’s edition. Each version includes a collection of bonus content, and fans eager to start playing as soon as possible should look into the Digital Deluxe edition, which provides 48-hour early access to the full game starting August 26.
Recognized as one of the best games of all time and a highlight of the Metal Gear franchise, it’s exciting to see Konami going all out for this remake’s launch. However, preorders for the collector’s edition have already sold out at Best Buy, Amazon, and GameStop. If you spot it in stock, we highly recommend securing your copy swiftly.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater preorder bonuses
Every Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater preorder grants immediate access to the White Tuxedo camo outfit in-game as a bonus (Please note, the White Tuxedo uniform will also be obtainable in-game later; the preorder bonus simply unlocks it from the start of the game). Moreover, preordering the Digital Deluxe Edition allows you to play the game up to 48 hours early, beginning August 26.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Day-One Tactical Edition

This is the standard physical edition release for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. It includes the standard game with exclusive “Day One edition” box art (not shown above), the Sneaking DLC Pack, and the White Tuxedo camo outfit preorder bonus. The Sneaking DLC Pack adds a range of bonus outfits, face paints, and gear for Snake to utilize in-game, which includes:

Konami is also providing a Digital Deluxe Edition of the game, which includes the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater base game along with a Sneaking DLC pack. As previously stated, preorders also feature the White Tuxedo camo outfit as an exclusive in-game item and grant up to 48 hours of early access to the full game starting August 26. The Metal Gear Solid Digital Deluxe Edition can be preordered through the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Steam.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Collector’s Edition (Physical)
$200 | Releases August 28 (Equipped Out)
The Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Collector’s Edition consists of the complete lot from the physical Day One Tactical Edition, along with a variety of unique collectibles, with the standout being a mini terrarium depicting Snake during the game’s opening mission. Additionally, it includes a replica of the in-game fake ID card, showcasing Snake in his scientist disguise, a detail that longtime fans will appreciate. You will also receive FOX UNIT and HALO jump patches, in addition to a special steelbook case adorned with Yoji Shinkawa’s artwork from the original Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. All of these items are nicely packaged in a distinctive collector’s edition box.
As of February 12, 205, the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Collector’s Edition is currently sold out at all retailers. However, there’s a possibility that inventory may be restocked before the release date, so be sure to check the links below to see if it becomes available again.
