Entry continues through randomly chosen drawings
The Nintendo Museum has been accessible to the public for about a year now and, due to the persistent lottery mechanism for potential guests, the facility has already accommodated quite a number of individuals.
Stated in Nintendo’s latest financial report, the firm mentions that the “total number of
visitors exceeded half a million as of the conclusion of September,” and that they will maintain the implementation of randomly chosen drawings in the future. This is simply a result of the high volume of entries, and Nintendo has expressed regrets for any trouble this may cause.
Moreover, it highlights the inauguration of a new art gallery on 3rd September 2025 featuring developmental materials and original character designs, while reaffirming its intention to host temporary light exhibits from December 2025.
If you didn’t catch it, attendees will also have the opportunity to acquire a special Super Mario Bros. 40th anniversary ticket design. Available for “approximately one year”, its launch aligns with “a unique installation displaying the Super Mario Bros. 40th Anniversary logo” that guests can photograph alongside during their visit.
Nintendo has made several announcements for Mario’s 40th celebration, including the first trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, plus the revelation of Mario Tennis Fever and Yoshi and the Mysterious Book for the Switch 2.
