Remarkably, the actress appeared to be alright with that sorrowful moment – it was encountering another scene devised particularly for season 2 that she struggled with. Sharing a stunning piece of artwork from @mera.kiae on Instagram depicting Tommy (Gabriel Luna) confronting a Bloater, Gabrielle admitted, “Unexpectedly, THIS moment is what triggered my most intense video game PTSD lol.”
By removing Tommy from his brother’s scene, Joel’s sibling required a task, and regrettably, this involved facing a grotesque form of the infected with a flamethrower. While this scenario never occurred in the game’s narrative, such confrontations were frequent for players, especially with the added pressure of low ammunition, mirroring Uncle Tommy’s situation when his weapon began to deplete.
