In addition to the earlier than anticipated debut of Isaac Dixon, the latest installment of the game’s adaptation also showcased a brief appearance by Josh Peck. The actor, who began his journey on Drake & Josh, is now renowned for his roles in monumental films such as Oppenheimer.
In The Last of Us, he portrays a FEDRA soldier in the Seattle Quarantine Zone set in 2018. During a flashback, he finds himself with other soldiers as he shares a dark tale of how a citizen met their demise at the hands of FEDRA. While Jeffrey Wright’s Isaac listens, he humorously recalls the incident, referring to the unfortunate citizen as a voter.
One of the other soldiers inquires, “Why do you label them that, the citizens, why call them voters?” Peck’s FEDRA officer responds, “I dunno, that’s just what we fucking call them, who gives a damn?”
Isaac then interjects, clarifying: “Because we stripped away their rights, we took away their right to vote, and someone started calling them voters.”
One of the final remarks directed at Peck’s character is that he is “thoughtless” before exiting the tank to form an alliance with the WLF. After tossing a gas can into the van, he subsequently eliminates P.
