Saber Interactive and Twirlbound have declared that the fantasy adventure The Knightling is set to launch on August 28th.
We first heard about this intriguing title last year when the trailer sparked our desire to revisit Breath of the Wild. The recent launch date trailer does the same, highlighting the globe-trotting exploration we anticipate from Zelda, combined with some fresh action mechanics to keep things engaging.
You will take on the role of the titular Knightling, a hero-in-training sent on a mission to save their mentor. The combat is particularly defense-oriented (Hey, Cap, is that you?), so gear up for plenty of throwing and catching, and we especially enjoy how your weapon of choice also serves as a means of movement, featuring plenty of gliding and sliding.
