The vibrant and exciting pirate escapade Trident’s Tale is set to debut on the Switch eShop on 22nd May 2025 for £22.49 / $24.99.
Created by 3DClouds, a studio recognized for developing family-friendly titles based on popular franchises such as Hot Wheels and Transformers, this game appears to be a welcoming way to engage younger players in expansive world exploration.
Taking on the role of Ocean, a girl aspiring to become a pirate, Trident’s Tale invites you to navigate through the enchanting seas of a fantastical realm in search of treasures and intriguing artifacts.
As any solid pirate-themed gaming experience would offer, you’ll have the chance to assemble a crew of rogues and engage in naval skirmishes with other adventurers. Additionally, you can customize your vessel, enhance and upgrade your pirate squad, all while exploring at your leisure.
On land, Ocean wields her trusty cutlass and gun, with opportunities to broaden her skillset as you advance through the gameplay. Naturally, there are numerous hidden treasures to uncover and puzzles to crack. Being a pirate isn’t a walk in the park.
While we are aware that significant pirate-themed games exist on other platforms, we still believe there’s a shortage of them. Let’s hope this becomes one of the standout titles.
