The third annual Steam Lovecraftian Days event is currently underway, showcasing hundreds of cosmic horror titles, complimentary demos, and significant markdowns on eldritch RPGs, roguelikes, and even casual games. From now until (presumably) April 21, all types of Lovecraft-inspired horror video games will likely be available at some of the lowest prices we have seen, along with a variety of spine-chilling free demos and announcements worth exploring.

To kick things off, I highly recommend everyone reading this to take advantage of Dredge, Dark Salt Games’ delightfully eerie fishing simulator, at 50% off until April 28. This brings the regularly $25 game down to just $12.50, which is the lowest price it has ever been on Steam.

One of my favorite indie titles from 2024, Skald: Against the Dark Priory, is another noteworthy highlight. This retro-styled old-school CRPG inspired by the iconic Ultima and D&D franchises is on sale for just $9, 40% off its regular price during this event.

Another noteworthy title featured in the sale is Pacific Drive, a first-person survival experience that takes you through the unnerving forests of the Pacific Northwest. It’s currently available for 40% off at just $17.99. This title may not officially belong to the Lovecraftian Days event, as its offer lasts only another 18 hours as of this writing, but the ample cosmic horror present makes it deserving of a mention.

Here are some more deals that caught my attention:

Also worth noting: Forget about $80 games, this $10 indie RPG is being celebrated as “one of the greatest if not the best” cosmic horror games ever, and thankfully, it only takes “10-12 hours” to complete.

Now, as GamesRadar’s west coast Staff Writer, I’m responsible for overseeing the site’s western regional operations, also known as my home, and discussing whatever horror game I’m currently too frightened to finish.
