Recently, there were updates regarding the forthcoming launch of SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide receiving a demo on certain platforms, and just before Halloween, it is now officially accessible on the Switch 2 eShop.
You are likely to experience the initial levels of the game as SpongeBob and Patrick, along with some new skills (thanks, Nintendo Everything). Overall, you will also gain insight into what to anticipate before the complete release next month on 18th November 2025.
Above is a trailer for the demo, and below we provide some press information regarding the narrative and adventure that SpongeBob and Patrick will embark on:
“Get ready to be frightened – in the most maritime nonsense manner! When the Flying Dutchman and King Neptune’s pride clash, the outcome is utter underwater chaos: ghostly mayhem spreads throughout Bikini Bottom, with only two somewhat courageous heroes able to restore order. SpongeBob and Patrick must collaborate, merge their distinctive talents, and (ideally) prevent the complete haunting of their realm. From the depths of Neptune’s Palace to the frosty summits of Mount Bikini, fans will visit legendary locations, confront formidable bosses, and most importantly: have F.U.N!”
There has been no official announcement regarding a Switch launch, so for the time being, this game remains exclusive to Switch 2 on Nintendo systems.
