When Fortnite released its Simpsons mini-season earlier this month, data miners unearthed indications that a SpongeBob partnership was also forthcoming. Now, reports imply Fortnite’s collaborations with Paramount extend beyond just SpongeBob, with “numerous” other Paramount franchises set for the battle royale experience.
In conjunction with the Simpsons season premiere on November 1, Epic launched the new Sidekicks functionality to Fortnite—tiny pet or minion-like beings that trail players. Frequent Fortnite informant SamLeakss has now disclosed that “numerous” characters owned by Paramount will soon arrive in the game as Sidekicks.

There is no current knowledge on the characters or series that may be featured, yet Paramount possesses an extensive array of famous franchises, encompassing both Nickelodeon and Comedy Central. Some of its most prominent series include SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, South Park, Dora the Explorer, and Paw Patrol—although it’s improbable that franchises geared towards younger audiences will be adapted for a game like Fortnite.
Fans are also optimistic that the Paramount collaboration might lead to an actual Sonic skin in Fortnite, given that the Sonic the Hedgehog films are among Paramount’s principal intellectual properties. While Fortnite had a Sonic partnership earlier this year, the items were primarily tailored for Rocket League and featured mainly Sonic-themed accessories rather than a complete skin.
Two Paramount franchises were reportedly already anticipated for upcoming Fortnite collaborations—SpongeBob and South Park—though it remains unclear whether those rumors pertain to the Sidekick inclusion, or if they will involve more comprehensive collaborations. Fortnite’s Simpsons mini-season has proven exceptionally successful for the game, attracting the highest number of new and returning players in over a year and elevating the game’s average player count higher than it has been for most of 2025. Given the remarkable success of this animated collaboration, it wouldn’t be surprising if Epic has more mini-seasons planned for other nostalgic cartoons similar to those in Paramount’s collection.
