Sonic the Hedgehog is recognized for various partnerships and in anticipation of the launch of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, Sega may be hinting at a possible collaboration with the energy beverage brand Red Bull.
Sonic’s genuine social media account shared an image of a rally car adorned with a Sonic the Hedgehog design, and in another post, there’s a close-up shot of Red Bull’s emblem, with Red Bull Gaming even acknowledging it using the eye emoji:
Sonic enthusiasts (as well as racing and rally aficionados) have shared a multitude of ideas, theories, and even some humor regarding what announcement may occur next:
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds was initially revealed during The Game Awards last year, with Sega indicating at that moment that it was on the way to several platforms, including the Nintendo Switch. This latest partnership would follow a collaboration with the DC Universe.
Since that announcement, there have been exclusive network tests, but no information has been provided on the exact release date of this game. It’s undoubtedly a hectic year for racing fans with titles such as Mario Kart World, Fast Fusion, and Kirby Air Riders 2 all slated for 2025.
