By Follow-up to 2017’s Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice received 11 nominations, including Best British Game
The 2025 BAFTA Game Awards nominations have been revealed, with Ninja Theory’s Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 earning 11 nominations across several categories, including Best British Game.
The Chinese Room’s Still Wakes the Deep garnered eight nominations, many of which are in the performance categories as well as Best British Game and the Original Intellectual Property award.
Team Asobi’s Astro Bot and Coal Supper’s Thank Goodness You’re Here closely followed, with eight and seven nominations respectively, both nominated for Best Game.
Meanwhile, Luke Roberts is nominated for Best Performer in a Leading Role for his portrayal of James Sunderland in Silent Hill 2.
Abbi Greenland and Helen Goalen, who played the Furies in Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, were among those nominated for Best Supporting Role.
“[The] nominations celebrate 41 exceptional games that highlight the finest of the British and global gaming industry,” stated BAFTA’s Games Committee chair Tara Saunders.
“They place game titles on a worldwide platform, uncovering hidden treasures alongside the most recognized gaming experiences of the year.”
The BAFTA Game Awards are determined by members of its international membership team.
The winners will be announced on April 8, 2025, at the 21st BAFTA Game Awards in London.
