Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser has shared his viewpoint on why the studio’s open-world espionage title Agent never took flight.

For those unfamiliar, Agent was initially hinted at way back in 2007 and revealed in 2009 as a PS3 exclusive. Although it was said to be under development at Rockstar North for several years, Rockstar and publisher Take-Two ultimately went silent regarding it, abandoning the trademark completely in 2018. Strangely, the company never formally, publicly scrapped the game, and even now, has not provided any reason or clear confirmation that it is canceled.
