Revive Your Xbox: Microsoft Partners with Currys for Instant Repairs!
By Is your Xbox acting up? Microsoft has announced that you can now visit the popular retail chain Currys to get your console serviced.
Currys has been designated as the first Xbox Authorised Service Provider in the UK, following its previous collaboration with Microsoft for the Surface laptops.
If you have a malfunctioning Xbox Series S or X, Currys stores will now employ “specialist team members” who can assist, according to Microsoft’s statement today.
Furthermore, Currys can also help schedule your console for repair. Interestingly, this will take place at Europe’s largest tech repair facility, located in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
Though repairs for out-of-warranty consoles won’t be complimentary, there’s a beneficial motivation behind this initiative: to encourage individuals to consider repairing products when possible, rather than simply discarding them and contributing to electronic waste.
