Resident Evil Requiem lets you dress up as Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village if you spring for the Deluxe Edition

Capcom has commenced pre-orders for Resident Evil Requiem, and in the process unveiled a costume that allows you to assemble protagonist Grace Ashcroft as Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village.

As outlined on the PlayStation Blog, the Deluxe Edition of Resident Evil Requiem encompasses a variety of bonuses that might justify the $80 cost for devoted enthusiasts. Overall, it includes five “attires,” featuring the Lady Dimitrescu outfit, four weapon designs, two filters, two charms, an audio collection with classic melodies, and an item referred to as “letters from 1998.”

Additionally, there are some skins potentially inspired by the 2004 film Resident Evil: Apocalypse, which includes another Grace outfit labeled ‘Apocalypse’ that will be accessible to anyone who pre-orders the game, regardless of whether they choose the standard $70 edition or the Deluxe Edition.

There’s something quite amusing about the fact that Lady Dimitrescu has been confirmed to appear in Resident Evil Requiem ahead of series staple Leon Kennedy. One would be naive to believe Leon won’t show up, despite Capcom’s assertions to the contrary, though his confirmation is still pending.

You can pre-order Resident Evil Requiem on PS5, Xbox Series X, Switch 2, and PC through all the standard retailers. Moreover, in relation to Switch 2 – which should be no revelation to anyone – GameStop’s listing confirms that the physical Switch 2 variant of the title will include a game-key card, not a physical cartridge.

The game is set to launch on February 27.
