By The Minecraft team joins the Season Pass

Update []: In case you overlooked it, Sega unveiled its latest purchased Minecraft pack for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds this week.
It introduces Steve, Alex, and Creeper as characters you can play, along with a track inspired by Minecraft. Sega has also released a new trailer highlighting this fresh content. The Sonic YouTube channel hosted a unique livestream to commemorate this DLC launch as well.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds was launched for the Switch at the end of the previous month, and now in an update, Sega has set the initial Season Pass DLC release date.
This included a teaser trailer and the affirmation that the paid Minecraft Pack is available this week on 8th October 2025. It features Steve, Alex, and Creeper, along with a fresh track. This content is included in the Season Pass and Digital Deluxe Edition, or you can acquire the independent pack.
This will also be accompanied by the in-game Minecraft Festival, which will take place from 9th October 2025 to 12th October 2025 and is free to join, even if you lack access to the pack.
Following this pack will be SpongeBob, Pac-Man, Mega Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Avatar: Legends. The Switch 2 Edition of the game is also forthcoming, yet we don’t have a release date for it just now.
