If you’ve been enjoying Street Fighter 6: Years 1-2 Fighters Edition since its debut on the Switch 2, it’s likely you’ve been captivated by its superb gameplay and unexpectedly in-depth story mode.
Concealed within the primary menu, however, is a delightful little surprise. The game features a section titled ‘Game Centre’, which houses a collection of classic games from Capcom’s archive. This encompasses Bionic Commando, Street Fighter 2010, Mighty Final Fight, and Mega Man 3.
The latter, in particular, is widely regarded as one of the finest action-platformers ever created, often competing fiercely with its immediate predecessor, Mega Man 2, for the title of best game in the series. Devoted Mega Man enthusiasts typically struggle to reach a consensus on which title is superior, which further highlights the excellence of both.
And it’s readily available here, in its entirety, in Street Fighter 6! If you’re a dedicated fan, it’s highly probable that you already possess the game via the Mega Man Legacy Collection on Switch (or even the 3DS), but for those who have not yet experienced the Mega Man franchise and have access to Street Fighter 6 on Switch 2, we highly recommend you give it a try.
To gain access, simply press start on the Street Fighter 6 main menu and navigate to ‘Gallery’. From there, select ‘Game Centre’, then scroll through the four available titles using ‘ZL’ and ‘ZR’. Easy!
Capcom has additionally announced that an extra classic title, Tiger Road, has been made accessible through the new ‘Sagat Arrives’ Fighting Pass, so be sure to check that one out if you get the opportunity, too.
