NS2 Edition Hyper Partying Redux Deluxe ++
- penned by Gavin Lane
While Donkey Kong continues hogging the spotlight two weeks after the brilliant Bananza debuted, Nintendo has quietly slipped its second Switch 2 first-party download onto the eShop in as many weeks. Admittedly, it’s essentially an appendix to 2024’s Super Mario Party Jamboree, but since the original already sits at the top of our series podium, Jamboree TV merely piles extra cherries onto an already decadent cake.
PJ slapped a glittering 9/10 on the update in last week’s verdict. Honestly, the only sour note is that ridiculous name; we’d have adored hearing the old Nintendo Power crew enunciate “Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV” every single time. Whispered rumors claiming the convoluted NS2 suffixes killed the podcast are, of course, nonsense. Maybe.
Right now the title carries a “Generally Favorable” average of 78 on Metacritic, indicating PJ’s love wasn’t quite universal—and we’re eager for your take.
Haven’t carved out time yet (we sympathize, wallets have taken a beating lately)? No worries—pop by whenever you’re ready, cast your 1-10 vote on the Jamboree TV page, and it’ll slip straight into our poll.
If you’ve already duked it out with stars and dice in our database, you’re extra awesome and we salute you. If not, you’re still awesome—why not leave your score below? Only if you feel like it.
