Pokémon TCG Pocket Announces “New And Updated” Features For First Anniversary

The conclusion of this month officially signifies the first anniversary of Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket on mobile platforms.

This game has consistently received updates with new expansions and features such as trading, and soon it will gain even more “new and enhanced” functionalities through three significant updates “arriving shortly”.

There’s the new sharing capability, the list of tradable cards is being broadened, and enhancements to the wonder pick feature are on the way. Here’s some information about each feature, and you can observe everything in action in the trailer above.

• Launch of the new sharing capability
  • A function that allows you to give ♢–♢♢♢♢ rarity cards to your friends.
  • Each day, you can send one card to every friend.
  • Once friends share cards with you using the sharing feature, you can choose and receive one card per day.
• Increased range of tradable cards
  • You will have the opportunity to trade cards from even the latest booster packs.
  • Alongside ♢–♢♢♢♢ rarity and ⭐︎1 rarities, ⭐︎2 and Shiny 1–Shiny 2 rarity cards will also be available for trading.
• Enhancements to the wonder pick feature
  • Cards from the newest expansion that you haven’t yet acquired will appear more frequently.
  • The quantity of cards currently in your possession will be shown on each card in wonder pick.

The team asserts it is diligently working to present these updates to players “in the most optimal way” and continues to consider player feedback during the process of developing and sustaining the title. The Mega Evolution expansion will also commence at the end of October.
