Sony is running a month-long campaign on its PlayStation games and devices, perfectly timed for Black Friday and the festive season. Featured in the sale is its portable game-streaming device, the PlayStation Portal, priced at $179 (previously $200). Offered in two shades–Midnight Black and White–this portable console combines a vibrant display with a DualSense Controller for streaming games over Wi-Fi. Initially, a PS5 console was necessary to employ it, but a recent upgrade enabled complete cloud-streaming features for the PS Portal.

The PS Portal features an 8-inch LCD display, and the integrated controller grips deliver the same haptic sensations and adaptive triggers available on the DualSense controller. Sony has also improved the device for easier transitions between cloud streaming and remote play from your PS5. Provided you have a reliable Wi-Fi connection, you can access any of the titles in your PlayStation library. Accessing cloud streaming does necessitate a PS Plus Premium membership, with nearly 3,000 games compatible with the feature.

Headset feature PlayStation Link and represent a perfect auditory choice for anyone who takes advantage of the PlayStation Portal offer. The Pulse Explore Wireless Earbuds are now available for $169 (previously $200), while the Pulse Elite Headset is reduced to $129 (previously $150).
PlayStation accessories discounted for Black Friday
The PS Portal can also connect effortlessly to various PlayStation accessories, including the previously mentioned Pulse Explore Earbuds and Pulse Elite Headset. Both offer wireless audio solutions for PlayStation devices, and both are available at a discount. Offered in White and Midnight Black, the Pulse Explore earbuds are set at $169 (previously $200) and come with six earbud tips for enhanced comfort. They are compatible with PS5 audio features such as Tempest 3D Audio, include two concealed microphones for communication, and last up to five hours on a complete charge.
The Pulse Elite headset is now priced at $129 (previously $149) and provides excellent battery longevity and superior sound quality. This over-ear headset accommodates spatial audio, has a retractable mic, and utilizes high-end materials for the earcups. It includes various accessories, among them the PlayStation Link adapter, USB-C cable, charging hanger, and mounting plate.

If you lack a PS Plus Premium membership, the PS Portal will solely be capable of streaming games through Remote Play from your PS5 console. Sony has reduced prices on all its PS5 console variations, allowing you to obtain one for as low as $450 when you wish to shift to a larger display for your gaming experience.
Nearly all PS5 exclusive titles are also discounted at the moment, including recent launches like Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and Lost Soul Aside. Sony has also offered significant reductions on many of its previous exclusives, with costs varying from $20 – $30 for titles like God of War Ragnarok, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered.
PS5 proprietors can receive a $20 discount on all DualSense controllers during Sony’s seasonal event. This offer applies to the limited-edition Astro Bot Joyful, God of War 20th Anniversary, and Ghost of Yotei with gold or controllers with black accents, and the promotion is valid until December 18.
