PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium Games For July 2025 Include Cyberpunk 2077

A new selection of titles for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog has been unveiled, and this month, the spotlight is on Night City escapades, managing your own tropical tyranny, and cooperative survival. As always, you’ll need to hold a subscription to the Premium or Extra tier of PS Plus to download and engage with these games.
July is led by two monumental titles, with the most significant being Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt Red’s sci-fi environment has evolved remarkably since its troubled launch a few years back, as it has been significantly enhanced since then. This can be played right now, and all other titles on the list will join the Game Catalog on July 15. The only exception is Abiotic Factor, which will be released on July 22.
Other notable games this month include the often-overlooked narrative-driven action-RPG Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden and a video game inspired by Australia’s finest contribution, Bluey.
As a reminder, all PS Plus subscribers can also claim new games in July, including Diablo 4, King of Fighters 15, and Jusant, all of which are available for download now.
Cyberpunk 2077 (PS5, PS4)
Following a tumultuous beginning, Cyberpunk 2077 has gradually evolved into one of CDPR’s finest creations. A dark sci-fi narrative set within the neon-glow metropolis of Night City, the game places you amid a conflict between corporate factions. With the digital spirit of Johnny Silverhand—portrayed by Keanu Reeves—in your psyche and a city exploding with potential, you have total liberty to craft your own Edgerunner saga.
PS Plus subscribers can also obtain a 30% discount on the 10/10 expansion Phantom Liberty, but only until July 23.
Abiotic Factor (PS5)
Abiotic Factor arrives on PS Plus later this month, introducing some 90’s sci-fi essence to your PS5 console. The game merges multiplayer action for up to six participants with crafting elements in an open-world filled with supernatural relics, trans-dimensional adversaries, and scientific experiments gone awry. As a member of GATE, your mission is to explore the unknown while striving to expand the boundaries of human knowledge.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden (PS5)
More than just an excellent game, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden also conveys a heartfelt narrative of love. Set in the haunted wilderness of North America, the deceased Antea Duarte and her living partner Red Mac Raith confront new obstacles as they battle lingering phantoms and apparitions in order to protect the inhabitants of New Eden.
Bluey: The Videogame (PS5, PS4)
For a more whimsical experience compared to a Shakespearean rendition of Ghostbusters, Bluey: The Video Game is an enjoyable diversion. The game presents a fresh narrative set in Bluey’s universe, allowing players to explore iconic locations from the series and encounter several familiar faces along the journey.
Planet Zoo (PS5)
The ideal zoo is one without barriers, and in Planet Zoo, you will transform an entire planet into a habitat for a variety of creatures. Optimized for consoles with redesigned controls, you’ll be tasked with constructing unique habitats and expansive landscapes to nurture numerous wildlife species. The game also offers multiple modes, ensuring whether you’re interested in a career focused on animal conservation or simply desire the freedom to build without constraints, your needs will be met.
Risk of Rain 2 (PS5, PS4)
The sequel to Risk of Rain significantly expanded the concepts of the original title, but if you haven’t experienced it, there’s a fairly straightforward narrative here. You find yourself stranded on a chaotic alien planet, surrounded by monsters, and must fight your way to freedom. Suitable for those who relish a continuous challenge, Risk of Rain 2 features a distinct scaling system to keep you alert, and you can always invite a friend to assist you in the online co-op mode.
Tropico 6 (PS5, PS4)
Rejoice, for El Presidente returns! Tropico 6 shifts the dictatorship-building gameplay to expansive archipelagos for the first time in the series, introducing an added layer of complexity as you manage multiple islands simultaneously. This rendition of Tropico 6 includes The Llama of Wall Street and the El Prez Pack DLCs, which incorporate new structures, additional customization options for your palace, extra outfits for El Prez, and an extra mission.
New World: Aeternum (PS5, PS4)
Set on a mystical island, New World: Aeternum pushes you to survive and flourish in a realm filled with peril and opportunity. You must gather supplies and resources to stay ahead of the peculiar dangers on the island, but by merging magical abilities and mighty weapons with tactical combat, the rewards you gain will make the challenges worthwhile.
Twisted Metal 3 (PS5, PS4)
A new season of Twisted Metal is approaching, and what better way to commemorate the occasion than by revisiting the video games that inspired the show? Twisted Metal 3 continued to refine the vehicular combat introduced in earlier titles, and this iteration of the PlayStation classic has been improved with several quality-of-life enhancements.

Twisted Metal 4 (PS5, PS4)
Twisted Metal 4 did not diverge from the established formula of prior titles, but it showcased some of the most outstanding level designs in the franchise. With Sweet Tooth at the helm, the game also tackled several issues from its predecessor, emphasizing smoother gameplay and enhancing player arsenals with a wild assortment of weapons.
