Papergames’ Infinity Nikki Soars to Nearly $1 Billion Revenue Milestone in 2024

Infinity Nikki creator Papergames achieved close to $1 billion in 2024.

As highlighted by the director of learning and insights at Niko Partners, Daniel Ahmad, the Chinese company has been “recognized for the surge of Chinese otome games” – these are romance games primarily designed for women – both domestically and globally.

According to Forbes, Papergames – which also created the dating simulator, Esteem and Deepspace, attracting over six million monthly active users and available in Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean – is so prosperous that it brought in sales of approximately $850 million worldwide last year, translating to a $1.3 billion fortune for the company’s 37-year-old founder, Yao Runhao.

Though both developed and published by Papergames in China, Infinity Nikki is distributed by Mettlesome in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, while it is published by Infold Video games in other regions, including the US and Europe.

Perhaps predictably, Infinity Nikki – the fifth installment of the dress-up game – is set to debut on Steam soon.
