Update []: Blizzard revealed earlier this month that Overwatch 2 will be partnering with Street Fighter 6, and they have now issued a reminder that this event launches this week on 20th May 2025.

This collaboration will introduce characters from Street Fighter into the realm of Overwatch 2. You have the choice to purchase the ultra bundle, which includes “all eight collaboration skins,” or explore Mega Bundle 1 or Mega Bundle 2 featuring various characters. Individual fighters will also be obtainable.

Here’s a breakdown of each skin from the press release:

  • Hanzo as Ryu
  • Juno as Chun-Li
  • Sigma as M. Bison
  • Soldier 76 as Guile
  • Kiriko as Juri
  • Winston as Blanka
  • Widowmaker as Cammy
  • Zenyatta as Dhalsim

Additionally, there will be limited-time in-game challenges that enable you to earn exclusive thematic sprays, voice lines, and more. This event will be active until 2nd June 2025, and a new trailer has also been made available, which you can watch above.

EVO Japan is taking place this weekend, and several video game announcements have already been made. One announcement is a new crossover between Blizzard’s Overwatch 2 and Capcom’s Street Fighter 6.

Blizzard shared this exciting update on stage during the first day of the event. It will feature the characters from Street Fighter 6 entering the universe of Overwatch 2 with brand-new skins and their legendary moves.

This event will commence in Overwatch 2 later this month on 20th May 2025.
