The Deluxe Edition of Oblivion Remastered offers a disc-based physical format, yet it seems at least some data must be downloaded. The Xbox Series X cover indicates the necessary download. This notification is not found on the PS5 box front, but that doesn’t automatically mean the PlayStation version contains more data on the disc. It remains uncertain how much of Oblivion Remastered’s approximate 120GB file size will need to be downloaded on either console.

This Deluxe Edition provides access to an application for enjoying the soundtrack and browsing a digital artbook. Additionally, it includes a voucher for extra in-game weapons, character attire, and horse gear.

Deluxe Edition DLC:

  • 3 Weapons of Order
  • 3 Weapons of Cataclysm
  • Armor of Order
  • Armor of Cataclysm
  • Armor of Order/Cataclysm for horse

Oblivion Remastered received an 8/10 in GameSpot’s assessment when it was digitally launched back in April for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The significantly revamped experience comprises the base game along with Oblivion’s major story expansions, Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine.

PC gamers who haven’t acquired it yet can enjoy about 30% savings on both the standard and Digital Deluxe Editions at Fanatical. Steam keys for the

standard edition is priced at $34.49 (previously $50), and the Digital Deluxe Edition costs $41.39 (originally $60). The Digital Deluxe package additionally includes the digital soundtrack and an art book application; however, the downloadable content differs from what comes with the physical version. With the Digital Deluxe, you will receive Akatosh Armor/Weapons alongside Mehrunes Dagon Armor/Weapons.
