Well everyone, it appears that Nintendo has officially hit the accelerator with its Mario Kart World promotional campaign in Japan. The eagerly anticipated racing game has recently unveiled three new trailers, highlighting a variety of new characters, tracks, and moves that will be available for you to enjoy starting June 5th.
Although much of the video content might not seem particularly innovative after yesterday’s Direct presentation, a few new images have been included in the 30-second advertisements for added excitement. The focus remains on traditional racing (as opposed to Free Roam or Battle modes), featuring some well-loved characters competing on the newly crafted tracks.
You can check out the first of these three trailers at the beginning of this article, but we’ll add the remaining two below so you can conveniently view them consecutively.
And if that wasn’t enough regarding the Switch 2 trailers, the Japanese Nintendo YouTube channel has also released a brand new advertisement for the Switch 2 itself. We haven’t included that one here, but if you’re interested in another quick glance at the captivating Joy-Con attachment, mouse functionality, and GameChat features, you can find it on YouTube.
If you happened to miss yesterday’s Direct and wish to catch up on all the details Nintendo shared about Mario Kart World, you can find our comprehensive summary of the event below.
What are your thoughts on these new trailers? Are you excited for Mario Kart World? Share your opinions in the comments.
