New card-based Vampire Survivors game is “hopefully the first in a series of spinoffs,” but the roguelike’s dev is also “working on something” related to a proper sequel
By The creator of Vampire Survivors, Poncle, has already transformed my gaze into raisins with its addictive bullet hell roguelike. It’s soon poised to stiffen my finger joints with next year’s card-themed offshoot Vampire Crawlers. And now, with a sinister grin on its face, the developer is hinting at a potential sequel.
When inquired if the dungeon-exploring offshoot Vampire Crawlers was actually a sequel in disguise, during a conversation with the Xbox blog, Poncle’s CEO Luca Galante mentioned it’s “simply a spinoff of Vampire Survivors” but “hopefully the initial part of a collection of spinoffs.”
