By The conclusion of Fallout Season 1 suggested that the narrative for Season 2 would return to New Vegas, the devastated remains of Las Vegas from Fallout: New Vegas. Recently, a new leaked design image from Season 2 has disclosed a scene featuring one of the attractions from New Vegas.
According to Eurogamer, a user on Reddit shared an image of Dinky the T-Rex, a fabricated dinosaur that has survived the post-apocalyptic world atop a dilapidated motel on the outskirts of New Vegas. However, in line with the tough times, the hotel itself has been fortified to protect its inhabitants, and there was even a sniper’s nest placed in Dinky’s mouth for defense against potential assaults.
Details regarding Season 2 remain undisclosed, but it appears probable that Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell) and her new companion, the Ghoul (Walton Goggins), will search for Lucy’s estranged father, Hank (Kyle MacLachlan), in New Vegas. Kumail Nanjiani is possibly joining the cast, yet this remains unconfirmed.
One actor confirmed for Season 2 is Macaulay Culkin from Home Alone, who will portray “a quirky genius-type” character. Goggins also shared a photo of himself returning to character as the Ghoul. Filming for Season 2 was set to commence at the beginning of last month before being postponed due to the wildfires in California. Now that the crisis has subsided, there is optimism for Fallout Season 2’s production to resume and possibly aim for a 2026 premiere on Amazon Prime Video.
