When Nintendo revealed its forthcoming Black Friday and Cyber Monday promotions, it announced that amiibo would be “$10 off MSRP at selected retailers” but the actual discounts have turned out to be even more favorable than that.

The newest set of Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom amiibo figures is available for merely $10 at Best Buy and other outlets, which is nothing short of astonishing. This includes the amiibo of all four sages from Sidon to Yunobo, which are typically priced at $29.99 during regular times without any Black Friday Nintendo Switch offers to be found. It’s not just encouraging news for Zelda enthusiasts either, as the Street Fighter 6 amiibo are also actually priced $25 less instead of merely $10 off, which is even more remarkable considering these are among the largest figures in the amiibo collection.

This path eventually led to my role as a Hardware staff writer for PCGamesN, followed by becoming the Senior Tech Writer for Dexerto, covering everything related to Steam Deck, PlayStation, and Nintendo. With that background, I was able to advance as Hardware Editor for GamesRadar+, where I remain as passionate about Nintendo, PlayStation, and gaming technology as ever.
