Standard Events Team has successfully finalized its $620 million purchase of Plarium from its former owner, Aristocrat Leisure Limited.

MTG and Plarium entered an agreement in November 2024, during which it announced that $20 million of the arrangement would be postponed until 2026.

With the deal officially closed, MTG is set to begin integrating Plarium and fully assimilate it into the group.

According to Pocket Gamer, this agreement could potentially lead to “an earn-out of $30 million” based on revenues from Raid: Shadow Legends in 2025 and an “additional $170 million tied to Plarium’s revenue in 2028.”

“This groundbreaking agreement will empower us to achieve our goal of establishing a prominent European gaming group with one of the most robust collections of enduring mid-core intellectual properties globally,” stated MTG president and CEO Maria Redin.

“The acquisition of Plarium serves as a significant impetus for our future expansion. It grants us a rare opportunity to enhance our implementation and strategic execution. This agreement unites some of the finest talents in our industry, bolstered by the technology, tools, and expertise we possess across our organization.”

Plarium CEO Schraga Mor expressed: “We are excited to unite with MTG, a company that recognizes Plarium’s demonstrated success.”
