Capcom has today initiated pre-orders for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, and there’s a sneak peek of some supplementary side story DLC arriving later in 2026.
The latest trailer (above) concludes with a quick glance at what is contained in the game’s ‘Deluxe’ and ‘Premium Deluxe’ Edition bundles. Mostly, it offers extra armor and hairstyle customizations, but there’s also a mention of ‘Side Story: Rudy’ to keep an eye out for.
It’s somewhat unclear, but here’s the official outline of this DLC from the Twisted Reflection website:
A side tale concerning Rudy, whose lineage has been Azurian Royal Palicoes for generations.
One day, while aiding the protagonist in a survey of some egg quartz, Rudy stumbles upon a surprising revelation!
This informs us… not much, to be honest. The extra side narrative is anticipated to debut in Autumn 2026, so we are confident we’ll hear a bit more about the bonus in the upcoming months — the main game itself won’t arrive until 13th March, don’t forget.
We are aware that the Rudy bonus is incorporated as standard in the Deluxe and Premium Deluxe editions (the former of which is currently available for pre-order on the EU eShop for £74.99), but Capcom has yet to disclose any information regarding purchasing the DLC independently.
Regardless, monitor those storefronts, as Twisted Reflections pre-orders are beginning to launch.
