By Fans of Minecraft will soon have the chance to view the immensely successful film adaptation from their own living rooms. Although pre-orders for the various Blu-ray versions have been available since its theatrical release on April 4, the home video launch dates were not disclosed until May 7. However, we are now informed that A Minecraft Movie will become available digitally on May 13, with the 4K Blu-ray edition set to release on June 24. You can pre-order the digital edition on Prime Video for $25. Several physical versions are also available, including the Limited Edition Steelbook of A Minecraft Movie in 4K Blu-ray and Walmart’s exclusive Crafting Table Edition on 1080p Blu-ray.
A Minecraft Movie garnered mixed reviews from critics, yet it has emerged as a tremendous success among audiences worldwide. This family-oriented film starring Jack Black, Jason Momoa, and Jennifer Coolidge is nearing $900 million in box office earnings.
A Minecraft Movie Limited Edition Steelbook (4K Blu-ray)

The Limited Edition Steelbook of A Minecraft Movie can be pre-ordered at Amazon and Walmart for $38. The steelbook case showcases numerous Minecraft characters on the front and rear covers, and its interior design features the Creepers from the movie.

Available for preorder now at $35, the Collector’s Crafting Table Edition includes foldable packaging that transforms into the recognizable Crafting Table from the game/film. It features magnets to secure the box, with the two discs nestled within the “walls” (sleeves) of the decorative display case.
However, a notable drawback of this distinct edition of A Minecraft Movie is its omission of a 4K Blu-ray copy of the film. Nevertheless, it does come with standard Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital formats of the movie.
