Koei Tecmo has disclosed additional details regarding some of Zelda’s allies in the forthcoming Musou prequel, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Captivity.

Earlier today, the game’s creator presented five new profiles alongside a multitude of new screenshots of the ensemble on the official site (via Nintendo Everything). Now we are aware of the identities of the four Sages (or at least their Japanese-translated titles) and of… Zelda’s servant?

To start, we have Argusta, the Goron Sage and chief of the Goron Tribe. Recognized as a close companion to Rauru, he is a benevolent, thoughtful, and savvy leader. Next is Kia, the Zora Sage and princess who has mastered martial disciplines. She is celebrated for her valor, which motivates her people.

Krafika is the Rito chief and the Rito Sage, and perhaps not the easiest to comprehend. Nevertheless, he is steadfast and values his companions. The final Sage is Ardi, a member of the Gerudo clan and a follower of Ganondorf, the present leader.

Among all of them, we especially wish to encounter Lanaria (or Ranaria), who serves as Zelda’s maid. Trusted by Rauru, she is a nurturing individual who is both swift in her duties and intrigued by the supernatural. She always carries a notebook with her.

While this might not be an abundance of new details, simply having knowledge about the Sages is a significant development at this point. Particularly since we are just a month away from the game’s launch date.

We had the opportunity to experience Age of Captivity very briefly at the Tokyo Game Show, and we are quite eager to see what this “canonical” prequel contributes to the Tears of the Kingdom narrative.
