Nintendo has recently commenced the 40th anniversary celebration of Mario, and it looks like other companies are also participating in the festivities.

One such company is First 4 Figures, as the “premium” collectible manufacturer has declared that their Mario and Yoshi statue (which we previously discussed here on Nintendo Life) is now back in production – with standard, exclusive, and definitive editions available for pre-order.

The definitive edition includes the bonus Bowser Checkpoint Flag and is priced at $749.99 / £558.03. The standard edition begins at $549.99 / £409.22, while the exclusive edition will cost you $599.99 / £446.42. There is also an early bird promotion if you place an order before 13th October 2025.

“Attention all Super Mario enthusiasts! We’re excited to reveal that we’re resuming production to finalize the edition size of our Mario and Yoshi statue, which includes the Standard, Exclusive, and Definitive versions!”

If you’re contemplating buying this statue, be sure to account for its size and weight. Here are the specifications for the standard edition: Height – 19 inches (48cm), Width – 13 inches (33cm), Depth – 9.5 inches (24cm), Weight – 6.34 KG.

In addition to this, this week marks the launch of Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the Switch. Nintendo is also commemorating Mario’s 40th with items like a Talking Flower from Super Mario Bros. Wonder, new amiibo, and even a physical release of Rosalina’s Storybook.

What are your thoughts on this Mario and Yoshi statue? Are you planning to acquire any of the items or games released during his 40th anniversary festivities? Share your thoughts in the comments.
