Update []: With the Mario and Yoshi statue now back in production, Nintendo is hosting a “My Nintendo Mario and Yoshi Stellar Sweepstakes“.
Members of My Nintendo in the US can win a limited edition of the statue by entering with 10 Platinum Points, and you’re eligible to enter up to five times. This raffle will remain open until January 9th, 2026.
Original Story:
Nintendo has recently celebrated Mario’s 40th anniversary, and it seems other businesses are also partaking in the festivities.
Among them is First 4 Figures, as the “premium” collectible manufacturer has announced that its Mario and Yoshi statue (which we previously discussed here on Nintendo Life) is back in production – offering standard, exclusive, and definitive editions for pre-order.
The definitive edition additionally includes the bonus Bowser Checkpoint Flag and is offered at $749.99 / £558.03. The standard version begins at $549.99 / £409.22, while the exclusive version costs $599.99 / £446.42. An early bird special is also available for those who order before 13th October 2025.
“Attention all Super Mario enthusiasts! We’re excited to confirm that we are resuming production to complete the edition size of our Mario and Yoshi statue, featuring the Standard, Exclusive, and Definitive versions!”
If you’re contemplating acquiring this statue, keep in mind its size and weight. Below are the dimensions and weight of the standard edition: Height – 19 inches (48cm), Width – 13 inches (33cm), Depth – 9.5 inches (24cm), Weight – 6.34 KG.
Additionally, this week marks the launch of Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the Switch. Nintendo is also honoring Mario’s 40th anniversary with merchandise such as a Talking Flower from Super Mario Bros. Wonder, new amiibo figures, and even a physical edition of Rosalina’s Storybook.
What are your thoughts on this Mario and Yoshi statue? Will you be acquiring any of the products or games released during his 40th anniversary celebrations? Share your thoughts in the comments.
