We’re well into 2025, and in March, it feels as though the gaming year has truly shifted into a higher gear. February brought some impressive releases, but this month features a plethora of highly-anticipated games, such as Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Two Point Museum, and Split Fiction. Additionally, there are numerous remasters to look forward to, with JRPG enthusiasts able to grab the first two Suikoden games along with Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition.

Regarding new launches, there’s an array of captivating games set to debut as well. Insurrection is taking a British twist on Fallout with Atomfall, The First Berserker: Khazan appears to be a gripping action game, and Fragpunk seems like an intriguing blend of FPS excitement in fast-paced matches. All in all, March seems poised to offer a substantial variety of titles this month, including several day-one releases on Game Pass.

Anyone who has played Fights in Tight Spaces can vouch for it being one of the best 007 simulators available, and developer Ground Shatter is expanding that formula further. Knights in Tight Spaces continues the blend of deckbuilding strategy and elegant gameplay, with several new twists that will challenge your tactical mindset.

Two Point Museum

After two games focused on the healthcare sector and higher education, Two Point Studios is looking to history for its next simulator. Two Point Museum will allow you to manage your very own institution dedicated to classic art and prehistoric creatures, but it won’t be a walk in the park. Balancing budgets, attracting patrons, and dealing with various disasters will keep you busy managing the ultimate museum.

The original Everhood was a brilliantly quirky game upon its release, and its sequel appears to be ramping up the unique features to eleven. Fans of Undertale and Deltarune will likely be drawn to Everhood 2 as it adds an unusual twist to the ARPG genre with its rhythm-based combat and a narrative revolving around completing numerous Herculean tasks.

Fragpunk

It’s tough to launch a new hero shooter—just look at Harmony for a cautionary tale—but FragPunk might break through that barrier to find success, thanks to several key elements. The game has impressive visuals and a unique roster of characters, but the real draw here are the Shard Cards that can be used to shake up its 5v5 gameplay at a moment’s notice.

Developer Grisly Guitar Studio mentioned that there will be over 100 Shard Cards available when FragPunk launches, and these can be used to revive teammates, empower bullets with chain lightning, give everyone oversized heads, and much more. Combine this with a focus on rapid matches and short TTK windows, and FragPunk could emerge as a fun option for high-energy gaming sessions.

Dungeons of Hinterberg was an underrated adventure title when it debuted on PC and Xbox Series X|S consoles last year, and it is now making its way to PS5 in March. If you missed it, it’s a Zelda-inspired action and dungeon exploration game presented through a Tintin-esque art style. The majority of the game’s action takes place during the day as you venture into the wilderness, but at night, you’ll interact with locals and fellow adventurers to forge new relationships that will have lasting impacts on your little getaway experience.

Get ready to rumble! As WWE gears up for its annual Wrestlemania event, an exciting new entry in the long-standing sports entertainment franchise is just around the corner. This year’s edition highlights the Bloodline dynasty, an incredibly popular aspect of the WWE Universe for many years, and taking inspiration from the NBA games, WWE 2K players will be able to explore a new social area populated with custom characters and legendary superstars. Additionally, WWE 2K25 is set to include numerous modes, a plethora of wrestlers, and many other modifications behind the scenes.

Notably, it will not launch on Game Pass this year as previous titles have; in fact, it will not be available on any subscription services in 2025.

33 Immortals

33 Immortals presents an exciting new challenge from the studio behind Spiritfarer and Jotun, and in essence, it’s a multiplayer experience reminiscent of Hades, where you and 32 other players battle against waves of relentless foes. Co-op is clearly a central element of the adventure, and you’ll also have the opportunity to grow stronger on your quest to defy God by equipping new weapons and powerful relics. It will be available in early access across multiple platforms this month and will also be a day-one release on Xbox Game Pass.

It has been 15 years since the release of the last Bleach fighting game—though Ichigo did appear in Jump Force—and Bleach: Rebirth of Souls promises an exciting duel of blades among Soul Society’s finest swordsmen. Rebirth of Souls already boasts an impressive roster of characters and will cover the Substitute Soul Reaper Arc up to the epic confrontation with Sosuke Aizen in the Arrancar Arc.

This souls-like game infused with an anime-style art direction was initially introduced back in 2019, and like other titles in the genre, it is packed with challenging boss encounters, foes with predictable attacks, and rewarding opportunities to counter them. Set in a post-apocalyptic world that has pushed humanity to the edge of extinction, AI Limit places you in the role of Arrisa. The unique gameplay twist is that you will gain access to a wide array of weapons capable of inflicting devastating damage through Sync Rate attacks to unleash even more powerful strikes.

The game features Ben Starr, who voiced Clive Rosfield in Final Fantasy 16 and recently portrayed Jimbo in a disturbing Balatro ad, as the voice of Khazan.
