By Madden makes its comeback on a Nintendo platform for the first time in over ten years as it launches on Switch 2 this August. The Nintendo Switch 2 edition of Madden NFL 26 is now open for preorder at Amazon and Walmart for $70, matching the preorder pricing on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Along with the standard version, Madden 26 will feature a Digital Deluxe Edition and an MVP Bundle, with the latter granting access to EA Sports College Football 26 on PS5 or Xbox Series.
The reintroduction of simulation football to a Nintendo console isn’t the only significant alteration to EA Sports’ beloved yearly release; Madden 26 will not be available on PS4 or Xbox One, marking the first time since Madden NFL 13. Ironically, Madden 13 was the final title in the series to be released on a Nintendo system (Wii U).
