THQ Nordic and Green Tile Digital’s Locomoto, the charming life simulation game where you step into the role of a train conductor, will be arriving on the Nintendo Switch platform on 26th June 2025, priced at $29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99 (kudos to Gematsu!).
Locomoto has been characterized as a fusion of Animal Crossing and railroad simulators, focusing more on the whimsical and relaxed lifestyle. As the train conductor, you’ll embark on a journey through a vast universe brimming with collectibles and delightful characters to connect with.
Many of these charming animals will require your assistance, allowing you to undertake tasks that support travelers and residents across different communities.
You can adorn your train, craft furnishings to enhance the travel experience for your passengers, and simply enjoy the journey. Additionally, you can design your unique conductor — should you be a kitten, a dog, or perhaps a raccoon?
Locomoto made its debut on Steam last April, and initial feedback from players has been quite favorable; it holds a Very Positive rating with 290 user reviews, and Vice has “Highly Recommended” the game.
