Walmart’s Black Friday Lego offers are flying off the shelves, yet Star Wars enthusiasts can still add Darth Vader and Princess Leia’s crafts to their collections at significantly reduced rates. The 630-piece Executor Super Star Destroyer has a price reduction of $30, bringing the cost down to just $40 (previously $70). The Tantive IV is likewise discounted to $40, but this 654-piece creation is normally priced at $80, meaning you save 50% on Princess Leia’s vessel from A New Hope. Amazon is matching Walmart’s offer for the Tantive IV.
Star Wars enthusiasts can also enjoy significant savings on Boarding the Tantive IV, a 502-piece Lego set that recreates Darth Vader’s initial encounter. As of this writing, Walmart offers Boarding the Tantive IV for $33 (was $55), and Amazon has it listed for $38.49. Amazon had the $33 price earlier today (November 26), suggesting that the retailer may drop the price again. There is a chance Walmart could increase its price, so we advise securing the $33 deal while it’s still available.
Lego Star Wars Executor Super Star Destroyer (630 Pieces)
The Executor Super Star Destroyer was released in 2023 in honor of the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. While it was available at various other outlets, it has been a Walmart and Lego Store exclusive for quite some time.
Darth Vader’s starship appears stunning as a Lego model. For a 630-piece assembly, it boasts an impressive degree of intricacy and provides a diverse construction experience with numerous small components. The detailing on the upper section of the Executor is akin to some Ultimate Collector Series starships.
The finished model measures 17 x 7 x 5.5 inches, so make sure to clear some shelf area before constructing the Imperial flagship. It features two removable miniature Star Destroyers with transparent elements, included to showcase the vastness of Vader’s vessel.
The Executor is equipped with a display base, name plaque, and the Return of the Jedi 40th Anniversary Lego brick. Appropriately, the memorial emblem displays Darth Vader.
The Executor includes an instruction manual, but you can also utilize the Lego Builder application’s 3D interactive guide for each phase.
Lego Star Wars Tantive IV (654 Pieces)
$40 (previously $80) | Ending soon
It’s appropriate that the additional Lego Star Wars vessel available for $40 is the Tantive IV. Star Wars: A New Hope begins with Princess Leia’s CR90 corvette escaping an Imperial Star Destroyer.
Lego’s 654-piece rendition of the Tantive IV measures 12.5 x 4 x 6 inches. Similar to the Executor, the Tantive IV consists of numerous small components, particularly for its 11 engines and turbolasers.
This set includes a black display base and nameplate, along with a commemorative brick. The unique Lego brick of the Tantive IV is adorned with the Lego Star Wars 25th Anniversary emblem featuring R2-D2.
Lego will be discontinuing the Tantive IV soon, meaning there’s no assurance it will be replenished after Walmart and Amazon deplete their stock.
Lego Star Wars Boarding the Tantive IV (502 Pieces)
$33 (formerly $55) | Retiring soon
The 502-piece Boarding the Tantive IV was released on the same day as the starship display model and is set to retire at the same time. This set continues the beginning scene of A New Hope, showcasing Darth Vader for the first time.
The entrance of the Tantive IV is 8.5 x 5 x 3 inches and includes various interactive features. You can engage levers to open the door for Darth Vader and adjust the floorboards to trip Stormtroopers.
Boarding the Tantive IV comes with seven Lego Star Wars minifigures:
- Darth Vader
- 2 Stormtroopers
- 2 Rebel Fleet Troopers
- Captain Antilles
- Clone Trooper Fives (25th Anniversary)
Clone Trooper Fives, a character from the animated Clone Wars series, is an additional minifigure that can be displayed independently on his own 25th Anniversary stand.
Walmart’s Black Friday event commenced on November 25 with discounts on three Star Wars UCS models. Two of these offers are out of stock, but you can still save $30 on Jango Fett’s Firespray-Class Starship.
Amazon features promotions on additional Lego Star Wars ships within the Midi-scale series, including the 921-piece Millennium Falcon priced at $68 (originally $85). The only Midi-scale Star Wars starship that is not currently on sale is the 557-piece Invisible Hand, which is exclusive to Target and the Lego Store.
