Currently, according to reliable informant Nate the Hate, the 2016 platformer may be receiving a similar treatment as Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD with a forthcoming port on the Switch.
This seems like a fairly safe assumption, especially since Nintendo will likely shift its focus predominantly to the Switch 2 starting in April. Planet Robobot does seem like a suitable candidate for the Switch, providing a perfect opportunity for fans to pass the time in the coming months. However, we recommend considering this as nothing more than speculation for the moment.
Nate the Hate recently accurately forecasted the date for the official reveal of the Nintendo Switch 2 (January 16th, by the way – it feels like just yesterday). He also stated that Xbox’s Halo: The Master Chief Collection would be making its way to the Switch 2 after its ultimate release.
