By James Gunn‘s Superman is set to receive a television spin-off featuring Skyler Gisondo, who will reprise his cinematic role as Superman’s friend, Jimmy Olsen (via THR). The series will be produced by American Vandal creators Dan Perrault and Tony Yacenda, centering on Jimmy Olsen and his Daily Planet colleagues as they investigate stories featuring supervillains.
However, the previously mentioned “Daily Planet crew” apparently does not include David Corenswet’s Clark Kent and Rachel Brosnahan’s Lois Lane, which is understandable since they are certainly preoccupied with shooting the Superman sequel Man of Tomorrow. It appears that everyone else could potentially be involved – and personally, I wouldn’t dismiss the possibility of at least a cameo from Clark and Lois.
