Japanese Charts: Mario Party Jamboree Rolls Its Way To Another Victory
Apologies, everyone! We were somewhat sidetracked by yesterday’s Mario Kart World Direct, which caused us to temporarily set aside the latest figures from Famitsu. However, we’re back to give you the most recent updates on the Japanese rankings.
Similar to last week, it has been rather calm following Nintendo’s announcements about Switch 2, yet Super Mario Party Jamboree continues to secure the top position with an extra 6,146 units sold — just imagine the surge in numbers once the + Jamboree TV expansion arrives.
A new title has entered the rankings at eighth place with Hakama Inc.’s Progress Orders, which successfully sold 3,349 copies in its debut week. Beyond that, it’s business as usual. Monster Hunter Wilds represents the sole non-Switch title, while Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition remains in the top five — a better fate than its UK sales.

The hardware sales remain consistent with our recent observations, exhibiting sluggish movement overall. Nevertheless, the Switch family of consoles remains dominant, accumulating a combined total of 25,035 units, while the three PS5 models achieved 8,866 sales. In contrast, the Xbox lineup totaled a mere 196 units — but we won’t dwell on that…
