Only a week after launch

The long-awaited Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road has finally debuted on Switch and Switch 2 last week, and Level-5 has today revealed that the soccer RPG has reached its first significant sales achievement.
As noted by the company’s CEO Akihiro Hino on X, Victory Road has already exceeded 500,000 units sold globally. While this count reflects all platforms (including PS4, PS5, Xbox Series and Steam), it’s a remarkable accomplishment for a title that has taken so long to develop.
“We will capitalize on the advantages of a digital-only title to enhance the gameplay experience and introduce new content,” Hino mentioned in his related tweet (via Google Translate), “so please stay tuned!”.

And it appears that new content is on the way. In the blog entry celebrating the sales achievement on the Inazuma Eleven website, Level-5 indicates that they will be introducing new “Galaxy,” “Scales of Ares,” and “Seal of Orion” pathways (likely inspired by the anime series of the same name) to the game’s nostalgic Chronicle Mode, along with an online tournament and additional free content in the near future.
We will present our comprehensive review of Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road shortly, so keep an eye out for that!
