Hypixel creator Simon Collins-Laflamme asserts Hytale isn’t prepared for an Early Access rollout primarily because it isn’t “satisfactory enough” yet for one.
This week, Collins-Laflamme revealed that he’d reacquired the rights to Hytale from Riot Games six months following the firm’s cessation of the project and closure of its development team. In light of that excellent news, AntVenom succeeded in securing an interview with Collins-Laflamme, who elaborated on the current situation of the project. The key takeaway is that it requires more time in development, and it seems that even when it does enter Early Access, it’ll remain fairly minimal.
“Honestly: Hytale isn’t some refined AAA launch waiting in the background,” he remarked. “It’s disorganized. It’s glitchy. And there’s considerable effort still needed. My agenda? Get it to you as promptly as possible. No more delays. You’ll be able to experience it, imperfections and all. It won’t be flawless at launch. My aspiration is that collectively, we’ll turn it into something genuinely remarkable.”
