Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment – Ver. 1.0.2 (Released November 26, 2025)
New features added
New missions added:
- Various challenges and tasks have been incorporated as part of completing the primary game.
- New “Vicious Enemies” for Bokoblin and Sludge Like have now been introduced. “Fuse Attacks” such as “Boko Rapid Spin” executed using materials from “Vicious Bokoblins” will be significantly more powerful than previous materials.
New armaments added:
- Included the Longsword of Light, a special long sword granted by Rauru with the protection of light’s power, and the High Guard’s Spear, a spear issued to the most courageous warriors serving the king of Hyrule.
- These can be obtained by completing battles included in this update.
New exclusive Sync Strikes:
- Exclusive Sync Strikes introduced for Zelda and Calamo.
- Zelda will return a boomerang thrown by Calamo utilizing the Power of Time and follow up. If the player presses the X Button with precise timing, she will catch the boomerang, enhancing the attack’s power.
- These can be learned by completing the missions included in this update.
Fighting alongside Flux Construct:
- Now you can execute Sync Strikes with Flux Constructs. These powerful spinning attacks will scatter weaker enemies, damaging the Weak Point Gauge of more formidable foes.
- This can be performed in existing battles where Flux Constructs appear along with the battles added in this update.
New confrontations introduced:
- “Eve of the Final Confrontation”
- “In Search of Poes”
- “The Struggle for Ash Swamp”
Enhanced Features
Actions:
- Special actions for the enigmatic construct can now be preserved for each weapon category.
- A warning sound has been introduced prior to the effects of the unique skills “Power Surge” and “Boundless Energy” concluding.
Confrontations:
- You can now select characters and weapons in “The Tanagar Meditation Hall.”
- A preview of the health recovery amount is now visible when choosing “Special Rations” or “Battery.”
Deployment Preparations Screen:
- From the “Allies” screen during deployment preparation, you can now press the Y Button to navigate to the “Aside Quests.”
The Hyrule Map:
- Added tutorials displayed on the Hyrule map to the list.
- You can now visualize how land areas are apportioned on the Hyrule map.
- When hovering over a battle, a preview of the area you can recover is now shown.
Missions:
- The color of the text on the missions list has been changed to yellow for items that can be completed. Adjusted the completion status display of missions.
Resolved issues
- The Unique Skill “Construct Launch” did not gain the effect of certain special enhancements.
- Aside Quest “Defeat — enemies using Zonai device” did not register even when the player met the requirements for strong attacks using Zonai gear or airborne combat.
- Even if the weapon art “May Guard Automatically, Shocking/Freezing/Burning Enemies” was activated with the Frox’s assault and the player defended automatically, the enemy would not enter the expected elemental state.
- If the player performs “Control Character” from the Pause Menu, there were occasions when the enhanced state would be nullified.
- When selecting “Retry” after specific control actions, there were instances where the background music would cease.
- Progression was impossible while utilizing GameShare.
- When communication was disrupted while using GameShare, attacks would not connect with certain enemies.
- During two-player split screen, there were instances where the player would revert to “The Hyrule Map” upon selecting “Retry” after specific control actions.
- In two-player split screen, camera controls would work in reverse when performing a Sync Strike with Pinnec.
- There were issues with certain screen displays.
This patch follows a launch update for the title on 5th November 2025. You can find additional details about today’s update in our previous article.
If you haven’t yet joined the battle in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, here’s an excerpt of our review:
“With Zonai devices to engage with, a fantastic roster, numerous exciting Sync Strikes to execute, and an impressively polished representation of early Hyrule to commence your action in, this is a dream come true for hack-and-slash fans and Zelda admirers alike. While map layouts may still feel a bit monotonous, and co-op mode is 30fps, everything else here combines to deliver the best installment in this spin-off franchise thus far.”
