DC has finally unveiled more specifics about the tales slated for its half of the imminent publisher crossover with Marvel Comics, Batman/Deadpool #1. Marvel has already teased an enticing slate, highlighting, for example, an Old-Man Logan vs. Dark-Knight-Returns showdown pencilled and scripted by veteran creator Frank Miller.
DC answers in kind by welcoming legendary scribe Grant Morrison—whose groundbreaking early-2000s tenure forever redefined Batman—back to the Cowled Detective. They’ll share the marquee with one of the company’s most in-demand contemporary illustrators, Dan Mora, for the book’s centerpiece. Those tidbits merely hint at the acclaimed roster of figures and creatives rounding out the remaining narratives.

Beyond the Morrison–Mora lead feature, writers Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV, and Joshua Williamson—partnering with artist Hayden Sherman—will serve up a sorcery-infused pairing of John Constantine and Doctor Strange. Writer Tom Taylor then reunites with his Nightwing collaborator, artist Bruno Redondo, for an encounter that puts Dick Grayson and Laura-Kinney Wolverine on the same page.

Meanwhile, scribe Mariko Tamaki and illustrator Amanda Conner pit Harley Quinn against the Hulk in what looks to be a calorie-laden clash that somehow incorporates a frankfurter-scarfing competition. To round it all out, Ms. Marvel co-creator G. Willow Wilson teams with Static co-creator Denys Cowan, introducing the two teen champions to one another for a joint escapade.
