Original Story: Following the release of the Street Fighter amiibo in the Super Smash Bros. series, Capcom has unveiled three new amiibo figures along with a card series for Street Fighter 6 on Switch 2 – releasing on 5th June 2025, the same day the console launches.

Please note that we will be including additional online retailers, particularly UK sources, as they become available.

Luke amiibo

Introducing Luke – a returning character from Street Fighter V and a standout in VI.

The unique Luke amiibo figure allows you to save player preferences such as the character’s outfit, color, and button configurations.

Kimberly amiibo

Next is Kimberly, a new addition to SF6 known for her ninja combat style.

The exceptional Kimberly amiibo figure enables you to save player preferences such as the character’s outfit, color, and button configurations.

Jamie amiibo

Lastly, meet Jamie Siu, a breakdancer and a rival to Luke, also making his debut in SF6.

The distinctive Jamie amiibo figure lets you save player preferences like the character’s outfit, color, and button configurations.

Street Fighter 6 amiibo Cards

If the amiibo figures seem a bit too pricey (which is completely understandable given US prices), Capcom is introducing a set of 22 amiibo cards for Street Fighter 6, which offer the same in-game capabilities without the extra plastic.

Marketed as a Year 1 “Starter Set”, it’s likely that a Year 2 set is planned.

22 distinct amiibo cards available for all characters throughout Year 1. Amiibo can be utilized to retain player preferences such as outfit, color, and button configurations.

We will refresh this guide with further details as they become available.

Street Fighter 6 Year 1-2 Fighters Edition

As expected, if you have the amiibo, you will probably want to get the game as well!

One crucial point to remember: The ‘physical’ Switch 2 Street Fighter 6 is actually a game-key card, meaning you will still need to download the complete digital game to your Switch 2. The cartridge itself serves merely as a ‘key’ required during gameplay.

Street Fighter 6 amiibo Release Date

The Street Fighter 6 amiibo figures are set to launch on 5th June 2025, coinciding with the debut of the Switch 2 in retail stores, at least for those that haven’t been claimed through pre-orders!
