Guide: Pokémon Pokopia: All Confirmed Pokémon & New Variants
Pokémon Pokopia represents an entirely innovative kind of Pokémon experience: you won’t be capturing every creature, instead, you… forge friendships with them all? Incorporating aspects of life simulators, agricultural games, and block construction into a comprehensive package launching on 5th March 2026.
Naturally, numerous familiar characters will be back, some of whom can grant you new abilities or allow you to morph into them. Below is a comprehensive list of all confirmed ‘mons in Pokémon Pokopia to date.

The complete lineup will remain a mystery until the game is released, but don’t anticipate seeing all 1000+ entities within the game either!
Additionally, we haven’t listed Ditto here — admit it, you are the Ditto.

All New Pokémon Variants
In addition to all the returning Pokémon, there are a few new variants coming to Pokopia.
So far, four have been unveiled (with one being a little less conventional than the other three, yet we believe the Prof. has enough uniqueness to stand out as well!)
Professor Tangrowth
Serving as your mentor while you assist in rejuvenating the island, this Pokémon has dwelled in solitude for a considerable time.
While this Tangrowth closely resembles a standard Tangrowth from Sinnoh, it features grey vines atop its cranium and a vine akin to a beard, along with spectacles and what appears to be a TM on its head.
Peakychu
Somehow, they’ve made Pikachu even more adorable. Peakychu is a lighter version of the immensely popular electric mouse, boasting larger eyes and droopy ears.
It almost resembles a Ghost-type and emits a glow. Could it be a competitor for Mimikyu?
Mosslax
Can Snorlax get any more laid-back? Indeed, as a Mosslax it can. Yet, the description sounds vaguely ominous: “Moss has taken over this Snorlax’s physique…” So wait, did it fall asleep and then become enveloped in moss?
Regardless, it doesn’t appear distressed. Just… content. We’ll discover what role this drowsy ‘mon assumes in the game.
Smearguru
A Pokémon we’ve long believed warranted a new variant or evolution is Smeargle, and Pokopia has obliged. Smearguru extends beyond simply the green and has splashes of color throughout its tail.
It better encapsulates the artistic theme of the original than ever before, and it’s such a straightforward alteration.
We will refresh this guide as we acquire more video and screenshots for Pokémon Pokopia! For the moment, anticipate further information regarding Koei Tecmo and TPC’s partnership on 5th March 2026!
