A fresh season of Fortnite signifies it’s time to update the loot pool, and the new season’s Simpsons theme indicates we’re experiencing more of a transformation than usual. It parallels the scenario from May when the Star Wars season substituted all the Fortnite firearms with Star Wars blasters, but because The Simpsons is a sitcom as opposed to a cinematic franchise centered on wars, Epic is approaching things a bit differently, by swapping most health and shield items with Simpsons-themed food and beverages, while reintroducing a plethora of Fortnite weapons that haven’t appeared in the Battle Royale loot pool for some time.

However, there are at least a couple of Simpsons-themed armaments nonetheless. To kick off the season, we’ll start with the Mr. Blasty revolver, which comes with an exotic variant that drops from the wandering Krusty the Clown boss NPC. Subsequently, we anticipate the arrival of other quirky Simpsons weapons, including Moe’s outrageous combo gun, the Deodorant Applicator, and the Makeup Gun, though none of these are yet confirmed.

As I hinted earlier, The Simpsons season also features a variety of health and shield consumables inspired by elements from the show, such as Super Squishees and Krusty Burgers. Super Squishee

This icy drink boosts your health and/or shields and provides an enhanced Slap effect, allowing you to run swiftly, granting unlimited sprint, and causing you to glow.

Blinky Fish

The Blinky Fish grants health and provides a dash capability for a brief duration after consumption.

Mr. Blasty

We’ll commence the season with the exceptionally precise Mr. Blasty revolver, known for its impressive range for a compact pistol. Additionally, there’s an exotic variant which attaches balloons to the targets you hit with it, dropping from the Krusty the Clown boss.

Jebediah’s Protective Helm

You can acquire this item–which offers complete protection from a single headshot, after which it falls off your head–from the statue of Springfield’s founder, Jebediah Springfield, located in the Springfield Town Square.

Krusty Burger

The unhealthiest burger known to mankind provides, ironically, both health and shield restoration when consumed.

Returning weapons

The returning collection of Fortnite firearms is relatively minimal, featuring two assault rifles (including a modless variant of the popular Striker AR from Chapter 5, as depicted) three shotguns, two SMGs/auto pistols, and one scopeless sniper. Epic labeled this as a “back-to-basics” loot pool, which seems to fit. Though, naturally, the loot pool will become significantly more intricate as they introduce whimsical Simpsons weapons throughout the season.
